Construction Manager

STV's National Rail team is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team to help manage numerous rail construction projects located in our Florida and surrounding markets. Responsibilities include driving the safety first culture, coordinating with sponsors and contractors, monitoring construction activities, reviewing and analyzing plans and specifications, observing construction work, performing field quality assurance tests, completing detailed quality assurance functions, and providing daily on-site oversight and documentation.

Qualifications include CSX experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience, minimum of 5 years of experience with construction work, knowledge of Microsoft Office, technical certification in earthwork, concrete and welding inspection, and willingness to travel overnight as needed on a regular basis.

The working environment will consist of working in the field in uncontrolled atmospheric conditions, traversing rough terrain, steep grades, and sites covered with heavy vegetation, and working on high structures such as bridges over waters or moving traffic.
