Construction Manager - Utilities

Audubon is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The Construction Manager will report to the Construction Operations Manager and is responsible for the project oversight. Overseeing project execution, the Construction Manager ensures that the project is completed safely, on time and according to the client's specifications and local, state and federal regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applicants must reside within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, GA. Oversees JSA (Job Safety Analysis). Organizes work activities. Organize job tasks. Oversee construction. Ensures personnel have the proper certifications Auditing of crew's job performance. Oversees any Third Party Contractor activities. Assures adherence to engineering specifications. Communicates with project management about any issues and to update progress of work. Reports to client and Project Manager about activities and issues concerning project. EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Requires 10+ years of experience in utility construction. Extensive knowledge of utility procedures is required. Problem solving abilities must be evident. Must be skilled in conflict resolution. Good communication skills with crew members as well as clients are vital. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed utility foreman in the State of Georgia. Must possess a valid Utility Managers license issued by the State of Georgia.
