job summary:
Construction Manager opportunity with a heavy industrial petrochemical client located in the Chattanooga, TN area. This role will be responsible for managing all construction trades of a capital project. This position requires a background in heavy industrial projects and a commitment to maintaining stringent quality and safety standards. As a Construction Manager, you will collaborate closely with client teams, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize project delivery and maintain high productivity standards.

responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project schedules, budgets, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and client representatives, to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, address any issues or delays promptly, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high standards.
Ensure all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies are strictly followed by all team members on-site.

Requirements:

Approximately 5 or more years of experience in construction management within a petrochemical plant or similar plant environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all construction trades.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction management principles, OSHA regulations, and safety compliance.
Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multiple teams.
