Construction Manager

Location & Hours:
- Phoenix, AZ (with travel to NV and NM as needed)
- Hybrid work: 60% office, 40% field (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM AZ time)
- Mileage and standard cell phone expenses reimbursed
Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Valid driver's license
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in telecommunications/wireless construction
- Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction (aerial & underground) and Small Cell construction techniques
- Familiarity with test equipment and procedures (OTDR, PIM, SWEEP)
- Understanding of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards

- Strong computer skills: MS Office, SmartSheets, Excel
- Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with budget development, construction management, and workflow troubleshooting
Responsibilities:
- Lead creation and management of work packages for vendors; oversee and coordinate construction schedules
- Communicate timely updates and resolve construction issues with vendors and inspectors
- nticipate and proactively resolve project obstacles, ensuring milestones and KPIs are met
- Collect and analyze project data, reporting on progress and key metrics such as % On-Time Install and fiber completion
- Provide oversight for all administrative tasks, including POs, invoicing, project tracking, and monitoring deadlines
- ssist with financial management, forecasting, and invoice resolution
- pprove purchase orders and process contractor invoices for fiber and small cell construction
- Communicate construction timelines, milestones, safety guidelines, and billing with vendors
- Maintain and update company tools; participate in company meetings and cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure service delivery and project closeout standards are met
- Escalate any issues to management before reaching critical status
- Support ad hoc reporting and provide general administrative project support as needed
