As the Administrative Coordinator, you will be the person fellow associates and management look to for up-to-date, accurate information regarding accounting. This is a position of responsibility that would best fit an individual that regularly takes ownership over any task they are given both professionally and personally.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Serve as an initial point of contact, answering phones, greeting visitors and providing general support to visitors
* Organize files, create correspondence, prepare reports and documents, manage calendars, and offer general staff support
* Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
* Handle a wide range of business administrative and construction administrative tasks
* Make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks
* Collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management and customers on a regular basis
* Some Payroll duties: calculating payable hours, confirming hours on GPS system, and data entry
* Accounting duties: Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including weekly collections, resale/exempt tax certificates
*SKILLS:*
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make decisions independently
* Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people
* You must know how to keep yourself and others organized and how to determine which tasks are the most important in a given list
* Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple task
* Knowledge of commercial construction contracts and billing processes
* Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
* Competitive spirit with a strong desire to succeed, exceed goals, and maximize opportunities
* Demonstrates the ability to solve common problems and to provide immediate solutions
* Spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and writing are essential, must be proficient in a variety of styles, from creative to professional to technical to education and more
* Knowledge of basic construction terminology
*EXPERIENCE:*
* Data Entry: 5 year (Required)
* Construction Industry: 2 year (Required)
* Administrative: 2 year (Required)
* Knowledgeable in QuickBooks :Preferred but not required
* High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
*SCHEDULE:*
* Monday to Friday
* 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
