DFC Company Entity: Dakota Fence

Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, Summer Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm; Winter Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Summary of Essential Functions:

Organization, flexibility, outstanding customer focus and strong communication skills are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling utility locates for fence and guardrail, including private utilities
• Apply for permits, as needed, for width, weight, or length as directed by management
• Utilize Inventory ODBC’s reports in 110/120 to monitor stock levels and replenish stock as necessary or make recommendations for Fargo Branch
• Facilitate inter-office freight and inventory moves, order materials when moves cannot be fulfilled for Fargo Branch
• Ensure retail transactions are timely and accurate to meet the needs of percent complete accounting, including invoicing and work in process
• Order operator parts, as directed by Coordinator
• Manage cash receivables, true up monthly, and provide to accounting
• Handle walk-in fence and guardrail sales and assist in inventory management and ordering
• Develop strong working relationships within the office and between other Dakota Fence branch locations
• Promote a favorable image of Dakota Fence, internally and externally

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• AAS or BS degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field from an accredited college is desired.
• Directly related experience is desirable.
