GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient and effective operations of AIS Infrastructure's construction and industrial services projects. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of projects and adherence to safety standards and protocols established by AIS Infrastructure.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize project execution.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks and issues proactively to minimize project delays or disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of construction and industrial services operations, including knowledge of relevant equipment, tools, and materials.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction or industrial services operations.
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with construction software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, ERP systems).
TRAVEL
- Travel to project sites may be necessary, up to 35%.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction and industrial services industry.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address operational challenges.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
