Construction Planning Assistant
Location: Sioux Falls, SD | Full-Time | On-Site Only

As our business grows, we are hiring a Construction Planning Assistant to support our estimating and coordination teams in a full-time, in-person role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 – $84,000 based on experience
• Quarterly performance bonuses
• 7.5 paid holidays + paid time off

Role Overview
This is a hands-on role that supports construction planning, estimating, and project execution. Ideal for someone with experience in commercial construction who enjoys working with both numbers and people. Responsibilities may include:

• Reviewing construction plans and specifications
• Performing quantity takeoffs and preparing cost estimates
• Assisting with bid documentation and planning schedules
• Communicating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Supporting budget tracking, material procurement, and project timelines
• Organizing and maintaining internal documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, project coordination, or planning
• Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, and general office software
• Experience with construction tools like Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time onsite
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Office-based with occasional visits to local job sites
• W-2 position (not remote or contract work)
