POSITION OVERVIEW The Construction Project Engineer will be responsible for design, review and implementation of new processes or improvements in the operations or construction of the manufacturing and related facilities. Candidate will work with General Contractors and Project Managers of external 3rd party construction firm (facility expansion). Responsible for material and labor costs analysis, setting procedures and standards, and reviewing construction bids. Accountable for plan, design, and oversight of facility reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of facility equipment. Assume project management responsibilities for any project assigned by management and ensure that all timelines are met. Provide bid specifications for potential vendors as required for specific projects. Provide regular progress reports on the timeline schedules for all projects.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree is preferred for consideration Candidate should be well versed in the Construction/Commercial Build process as they will be partnering with General Contractors, Trades, and external Construction Project Managers. 3-5+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering and/or Project Management. Must be experienced in reading mechanical, system and layout drawings.
