Construction Project Manager - Cold Storage

Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of large-scale food facility construction projects in collaboration with clients, internal teams (Facilities, Design, Estimating, Construction), external engineers, and contractors. Manage all aspects of project delivery from conception to close-out, including cost control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, material tracking, and construction meetings. Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and company quality standards while maintaining target profit margins. Review and process shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance. Mentor and supervise Assistant Project Managers, providing training, performance evaluation, and oversight as needed. Maintain strong client communication and satisfaction throughout all project phases. Nationwide travel required; project durations typically range from 3 to 24 months. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, ideally in the food or cold storage sector. Strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and owner occupancy requirements. Excellent leadership, technical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook. Experience with Procore and Sage is preferred. Foodservice construction and refrigeration experience highly desirable. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required. Must provide professional references. Willingness to travel nationally as required.
