  • Oversee the construction and delivery of both new construction and renovation projects ranging from $1 - $15+ million.
  • Manage 3-6 projects concurrently under limited supervision.
  • Handle scheduling, purchasing, quality, and safety management.
  • Support and work with management, operations, finance, and estimating staff regarding project plans, requirements, and specifications.
  • Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
  • Serve as the point of contact for client project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and more.
  • Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
  • Collaborate on project safety plans with Superintendents.
  • Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams in the review of construction plans/specifications and break scope of work into subcontractor trade packages.
  • Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Understand project logistics and scheduling.
  • Prepare and present closing packages.
Experience you will need:
  • 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of construction industry project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid computer skills with MS Office Suite and construction management software.
  • Knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Well organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines while managing changing tasks and demands.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Possess traits of honesty, integrity, and effort.
