AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager II in New York, NY.

Job details:

Supports overall management administration in various projects; provide technical direction to the contractors, maintains close client interface.

Oversee every aspect of the project.

Coordinate and schedule various meetings (Bi-Weekly, UFT, Job Committee, etc.).

Review contractual documents such as drawings, project specifications, schedule, submittals, and RFI's (Request For Information).

Track progress of the project and schedule appropriate inspections.

Keep records of all communications and document meetings, discussions and field conditions.

Update management on progress and verify field progress to accurately review payment requisitions.

Communicate progress to school staff in a clear and timely manner.

Input project meeting, daily report, payment data into CM tracking program.

Supports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

Position may have significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:

Utilizing Construction Management tool including Kahua to review Submittals, RFIs, and Meeting Minutes.

Reviewing and determining whether the Contractor's payrolls are acceptable or not

NYC DOB NOW tool and Building Code Compliance

LEED and Sustainability certifications in order to perform the design review as well as the QA/QC during the pre-construction phase.

Scheduling tools including Primavera P6 and Smartsheet.

Completion of OSHA-40 & OSHA-30 training

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $190,819.00.
