DeLeers Construction is expanding our Renovations Department! We are currently looking to add a Project Manager to our team. This person will work with customers and oversee residential construction renovations. This includes scheduling the work, ordering materials, coordinating with our trade partners, working with our internal employees (carpenters), and ensuring that the project is completed on-time, within budget, and following the DeLeers standards of quality craftsmanship.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources; shares project schedule with project team; monitors and updates schedule on a regular basis.
- Designates responsibilities with all involved personnel; establishes scope of authority with all members of project team.
- Visits jobsites regularly and meets with project team to ensure that work is progressing according to schedule and in an efficient and quality-focused manner.
- Reviews all subcontractor quotes to confirm compliance with project requirements; maintains good subcontractor relationships.
- Administers and oversees the procurement of all materials required for projects; shops and buys smart to boost profit margins and beat estimate when possible.
- Reviews project bulletins and identifies scope of work changes. Ensures change requests are formally authorized prior to proceeding in field.
- Monitors project costs on a regular basis and works to minimize the effects of overruns on overall project performance.
- Oversees final payment collection and subcontractor evaluations.
- Takes direct responsibility for dealing in a timely manner with questions and/or conflicts that arise with architects, owners or subcontractors, and resolves them by using good judgment.
- Oversees onsite job safety, reviews safety inspections, works on resolving safety concerns, and issues written documentation of safety violations to subcontractors as required.
- Recognizes and promptly advises upper management of technical/budget problems on projects.
- Confers with field employees to outline project plans and special details; designates responsibilities and establishes scope of authority with all members of project team
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with local building codes, industry standards and inspection requirements to always ensure appropriate compliance with rules/regulations.
- Extensive carpentry experience and knowledge to manage construction projects as assigned.
- Extensive knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction and repair of houses, buildings, and the ability to work safely with all types of tools.
