Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from inception to completion.- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure projects meet time, cost, and performance targets.- Source, vet, and manage subcontractors to maintain high standards of workmanship and reliability.- Conduct takeoffs, interpret blueprints, and ensure accurate material procurement.- Monitor project costs, identify savings opportunities, and implement value engineering strategies.- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.- Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.- Utilize project management software to track progress, manage documentation, and report updates.- Resolve project challenges quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal impact on schedules and budgets.- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.- Proficient in reading plans, generating takeoffs, and using project management software.- Strong background in value engineering and resource management.- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.- Proven ability to solve problems and adapt in a fast-paced environment.- Experience sourcing and managing subcontractors.- Highly self-motivated and eager to grow with the company.
