Job Title: Construction Project Manager


Position Summary:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Construction Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of construction projects.

  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with client requirements.

  • Develop detailed project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

  • Monitor project costs, prepare budget reports, and approve invoices and change orders.

  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee work, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges.

  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction project management, preferably in [residential/commercial/industrial] projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and project scheduling.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to conduct site visits, which may involve walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
