We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex construction projects within the life science industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, R&D, cleanroom, and GMP-regulated facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of construction project execution from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of construction projects in the life sciences sector (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
Collaborate with stakeholders including architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope, budget, and timelines.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead regular project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.
Coordinate permitting, inspections, and compliance-related activities.
Oversee contractor performance and enforce contractual obligations and safety standards.
Support project commissioning, qualification, and validation efforts.

Hourly Rate: $85-$100/hr

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification preferred.
5+ years of project management experience in construction, with at least 2-3 years in the life sciences industry (pharma, biotech, medical device, etc.).
Proven experience managing projects in GMP-regulated environments.
Familiarity with cleanroom design, HVAC, process utilities, and lab or manufacturing equipment integration.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore).
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
