Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in general commercial construction and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong track record managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ideally including public works, education, or recreational developments.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the full project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, subcontractor management, scheduling, and client relations Oversee construction operations to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and design-build partners Manage a small project team including a Project Engineer and Superintendent Handle project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts Monitor jobsite performance and lead project meetings with stakeholders Ensure adherence to project specifications and local regulatory requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience managing general commercial construction projects Background in public works, park, or community-related projects is preferred Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficient in software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms
