Concrete Engineer Location: Canal Fulton, Ohio Type: Full-Time | In-Person Salary: $80,000-$85,000 per year Are you an engineer or project manager with a passion for building strong, lasting structuresand an eye for detail? In this role, youll be hands-on with the design, analysis, and production of high-quality precast concrete products. What Youll Do Perform structural analysis and design calculations for a range of precast concrete components. Create detailed shop drawings that meet project specs and industry standards. Ensure compliance with codes and standards (ACI, ODOT, etc.). Select materials, reinforcement, and connections appropriate to each project. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with project managers, contractors, and production teams from start to finish. Communicate directly with customers to answer questions and solve problems. Prepare technical submittals and participate in project meetings and site visits. Production Support Provide technical guidance to the production team to ensure accurate fabrication. Review and improve production drawings and connection details. Troubleshoot challenges in design or manufacturing as they arise. Quality & Continuous Improvement Help develop and maintain quality control procedures. Review inspection reports to ensure top-quality production. Stay current with trends in precast materials, design practices, and technology. Suggest improvements to streamline and optimize processes. What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, or related field. 15 years of engineering experience preferred (especially in precast), but other construction experience candidates are welcome. Solid understanding of structural analysis, concrete design, and materials science. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-starter who works well independently and on a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Valid drivers license required. Bonus Skills Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Familiarity with precast-specific detailing software (Titan 3000 is a big plus!). Why Join Us?
