Job Summary:  Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their growing team in Orlando, FL.

Job Responsibilities: Estimate jobs and prepare proposal documents and/or presentations to the owner Evaluate and solve potential field or design problems working in conjunction with the Project Superintendent, General Superintendent and Project Engineer. Complete buyout of project within 2 weeks of contract award Develop and update project schedule Plan and spec analysis to provide clear, trackable, and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction. Identify, research, and develop solutions to design issues or conflicts. Ensure all information is conveyed to field superintendent Conduct quality control activities in accordance with instructions and inspection programs, using specified control measuring and testing equipment Understand and oversee document control functions in accordance with policy and procedures

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years construction experience in a supervisory or management position. Experience with use of Construction Management Software Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline Proficiency in department’s computer system, department software, and typing necessary Ability to assume responsibility and to interface and communicate effectively with others. The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of external professionals and in-house staff. OSHA Certification First Aid Certification
