Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be based in Denver, CO. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provides guidance to employees within latitude of established policies.
- Establishes procedures that affect the immediate organization.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of the situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
- Acts as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or to resolve technical problems.
- Manage and review contract budgets and contractor pay applications.
- Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
- Accountable for the planning, design, and/or construction management activities and personnel under the individual's direction on a day-to-day. Prepare and manage field inspection reports.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage work related issues associated to field construction activities.
- Monitor environmental inspections and compliance associated to field construction activities.
- Review contractor as-built drawings, and other construction documentation to ensure information is appropriately captured.
- Review contractor schedules and work phasing plans.
- Provide management, administration, and oversight of all assigned project contracts.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS
- 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Driving is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE, or EIT certification preferred
- BA/BS preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- 5+ Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 5+ Years of experience working with new commercial and residential developments
- Local Agency and CDOT project experience
- Able to effectively communicate and negotiate with contractors and clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., MS Project, Visio, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experienced with Bluebeam Software
- Experienced with ProCore
Additional Information
Sponsorship is not available for this role. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00.
