Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 yearly + commission Responsibilities: Coordinate all construction timelines and operations into an intuitive plan so the team is on schedule to meet deadlines
Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
Establish organizational processes for tools, equipment, and vehicles and arrange for maintenance as needed
Oversee the work of all general contractors and their laborers and guide as necessary to ensure high-quality work
Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget
Build strong, collaborative partnerships with external vendors and subcontractors to negotiate agreements that drive long-term success Respond to property damage emergency calls when required Ensure teams work to follow all health and safety standards to prevent injuries and obstacles to project completion, and quickly report any safety regulation issues Oversee the work of all subcontractors and skilled laborers and guide them as necessary to ensure high-quality work Calculate the budget for all project tasks and accurately manage the budget Communicate the status of the project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports Issue purchase orders for subcontractor work Participate in a rotational on-call schedule Qualifications: Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan, to be considered for this position A college degree in a construction-related field is a plus 1 year of experience as a construction project manager, preferably in the restoration/construction industry Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Knowledge of Xactimate and project management software Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable Ability to recognize and solve problems independently About Company About Concraft Since 1986, Concraft has provided emergency restoration and reconstruction services throughout the Greater Detroit Metro Area and Southeast Michigan.
