Job Overview Soft Rock Construction is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role will coordinate project planning, subcontractor management, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Proficiency in Sage and Procore is required for schedule tracking, financial oversight, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Pre-Construction: Define scope, timelines, and budgets; obtain permits and coordinate resources.- Project Execution & Oversight: Manage construction projects ensuring quality, safety, and code compliance.- Cost & Budget Control: Monitor costs, manage bids and invoices, and approve change orders using Sage.- Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Select and oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality and documentation compliance.- C lient Communication : Act as the main client contact, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.- Risk Management: Anticipate risks, resolve jobsite issues, and ensure safety and organization across all project sites.- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, track costs, and report progress using Procore and Sage.
Qualifications- Education & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.- 5-10+ years of experience managing residential remodeling projects.- Proven track record of using Sage and Procore in construction management.- Technical Skills:- Deep understanding of commercial construction practices and materials.- Strong knowledge of codes, inspections, safety, and permitting.- Ability to read blueprints and interpret project contracts and schedules.- Soft Skills & Competencies:- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.- Proactive problem solver, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
