Snelling is currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager for the Birmingham Area!! The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of new construction projects. This will include quality control, scheduling, managing subcontractors and customer care.

Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager:
  • Planning, scheduling, implementation, and coordination of quality-built homes on a timely & efficient basis.
  • Provision of managerial oversight of home construction
  • Implement, monitor, and drive the project schedule.
  • Must be proactive in anticipating potential problems that may impact the project performance.
  • Oversee the scheduling, delivery & use of materials, the quality of construction, worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes.
  • Complete homes and all NHO items prior to closing
  • Conduct Home Buyer meetings with Customers
Qualifications for Construction Project Manager:
  • 3-5 years of homebuilding experience preferred.
  • Experience in understanding government and industry specifications for home construction.
  • Proven organization skills in a high paced work environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing workplace.
  • Computer literacy, proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and ability to learn new programs as needed.
Working Conditions for Construction Project Manager:
  • This is often times a roll up your sleeves and get it done position.
  • The Project Manager’s work is almost always performed in the field, i.e. home building construction sites. Occasional work will be performed in a typical office environment and may involve the use of standard office equipment.
  • Fast paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

Salary Range for Construction Project Manager:
  • $85,000-105,000, depending on previous work experience. Health insurance and 401K along with bonus opportunities may be available.
