As an impartial consultant, we assist our clients in proactively evaluating, budgeting, designing, bidding, and managing their portfolio, leading to significant cost savings for the largest expenses in maintaining a property.


We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join the team. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of assigned retail construction projects – ensuring completion on time, within budget, and in alignment with company standards. This role requires travel across the Southeast, with overnight stays.


Key Responsibilities

· Manage multiple retail construction projects from initiation through close-out.

· Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

· Oversee all phases of development including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store turnover, and project closure.

· Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and developers.

· Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts.

· Review contracts, administer change orders, and ensure quality control.

· Monitor progress and report project status, risks, and resolutions.

· Utilize web-based project management tools for documentation and tracking.

· Oversee logistics and material sourcing, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.

· Resolve material sourcing issues and communicate delays or risks proactively.

· Manage inbound logistics from supplier to distribution center to store.

· Perform on-site assessments, which may require ladder climbing and rooftop access.

· Represent the company professionally and deliver exceptional client service.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience managing retail or large-format (big box) construction projects.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

· PMP and LEED certifications are highly preferred.

· Valid driver’s license required.
