Project Manager — Lead Hawaii’s Heavy Civil & Commercial Projects | $120K–$160K | Statewide
Are you ready to take your construction project management career to the next level? Our client, a top-tier, employee-owned construction leader with over 100 years of experience, is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil and commercial projects across Hawaii’s islands.
What You’ll Lead:
Oversee all phases of major heavy civil and commercial construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget goals are met
Collaborate closely with estimators, superintendents, engineers, owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers
Manage project schedules using P-6, Microsoft Project, and other tools, and proactively address risks and challenges
Lead project teams to deliver excellence while maintaining strict compliance with local and federal regulations
Identify and implement innovative solutions and cost-saving strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability
Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and closeout packages
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on experience
Minimum 4 years of practical construction experience, or 8 years equivalent
Deep technical knowledge across multiple trades under your supervision
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse project teams
Expertise in scheduling, estimating, negotiating, and contract administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, and construction management tools
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
