Responsibilities: Oversee the full lifecycle of single-family home construction projects, from site development to final closeout. Create and maintain project schedules (Gantt charts), ensuring timely updates and reporting. Manage and direct trade partners and field crews to achieve deliverables efficiently and safely. Identify and resolve critical path roadblocks, ensuring project timelines remain on track. Collaborate with Engineering and Real Estate teams to address design challenges and implement solutions. Schedule and lead quality control inspections, including city, subcontractor, and Fire Marshal reviews. Ensure compliance with local regulations, particularly during the Certificate of Occupancy phase. Travel between job sites, manufacturing facilities, and vendor locations as needed.
Must-Have Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in residential project management. Proficiency in working with AHJs, utility entities, and stakeholders for Certificate of Occupancy processes. In-depth knowledge of inspection schedules for single-family homes in Northern California. Strong multitasking abilities and capability to perform under pressure. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with modular or prefabricated construction systems. Familiarity with sustainable building practices and technologies. Proficiency with construction management software tools. Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or LEED Accreditation. Experience managing projects within a hybrid work environment.
