Position Overview Tract is seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to lead the execution of complex civil infrastructure projects that support the development of large-scale data center parks across the U.S. This role requires strategic oversight of engineering, permitting, and construction management, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, technical precision, and schedule accountability. Reporting to senior leadership, the Construction Manager will play a critical role in ensuring project success from concept through completion while maintaining Tract's commitment to sustainable and community-conscious development.
Responsibilities: Manage the design and development of projects, including site layout, grading, road design, stormwater management, wet and dry utility layouts and other related aspects. Perform constructability reviews for infrastructure projects being recommended during due diligence phase. Develop comprehensive project plans and report against project scope, schedule, budget, change management, and progress for all development projects. Work with contractors to develop and implement appropriate quality and safety plans in accordance with local regulations. Preparation of requests for proposals, review and approve contractor scope of work, and monitor contractor performance. Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams. Prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing project findings and recommendations. Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to identify and obtain necessary permits. Manage contract scope, schedule, and budget of design consultants and contractors to ensure permit approvals. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science OR 10+ years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degree. 8+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, RFI/submittal tracking) on multiple large projects associated with construction and project execution. 4+ years of managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects, including site development, grading, drainage and utilities. Knowledge of capital budget management. Proficient working knowledge of P6, MS Suite, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and other construction management software Preferred Qualifications: Preferred background in data center construction Strong knowledge of engineering and construction practices for major site utilities infrastructure (electrical, water, fiber, etc.) Required Traits and Skills: Responsible, ethical, and collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude, pride in work product, and appreciation of the value of communicating, brainstorming and sharing information Passionate about the data center industry and keeping up with current industry trends Enthusiastic problem solver who enjoys widely varied challenges Self-starter who can take the lead on complex projects, work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines, and work with minimal supervision Detail oriented to support data-driven analysis and decision-making Strong written communication skills including internal reports / memos and verbal communication skills including presentations to senior leaders and board members Eagerness to be a part of building something unique, special, and valuable in a dynamic environment with a top-notch team This is a hybrid position located at our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
Expected Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000 plus Bonus
