As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and versatile construction Project Manager to join our team. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage facility management projects from initiation to completion on behalf of AlffCo at our client sites.


We are seeking a results-driven professional who can oversee multiple projects, coordinate teams, manage budgets, and deliver high-quality outcomes that directly contribute to AlffCo’s revenue and client satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, disciplined, and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to lead projects while maintaining exceptional standards. Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning:

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.


Team Coordination:

Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure alignment with project goals. Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to maintain project schedules.


Budget Management:

Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures as necessary.


Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.


Quality Assurance:

Oversee all construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.


Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction activities.


Client Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status. Address client concerns promptly and adjust project plans to accommodate changes in requirements.


Documentation:

Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Ensure all records are accurate and accessible for future reference.


Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to maintain high expertise.

Requirements:

Qualifications


Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple trades, ideally in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
  • Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain facility systems and equipment across diverse environments.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Problem-solving and Analytical Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Analytical mindset to assess work orders and determine the best course of action for completing tasks.

Time Management and Organization

  • Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), this globally recognized certification validates advanced project management skills, including planning, execution, and leadership.
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Issued by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), this certification demonstrates expertise in managing time, cost, quality, and safety on construction projects.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications ensure knowledge of workplace safety standards and hazard prevention.

Computer Skills

  • Working knowledge of Basic computer programs and smartphone applications. All work completed requires before and after photos as well as on-site, GPS confirmed, check-in and check-out of work orders and projects.
