Construction Project Manager /Construction Superintendent
in Greater Charleston WV Area!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager / Construction Superintendent to oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to completion. This hybrid role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing project timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and on-site construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience 60,000- 75,000 per year


Job Duties:
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to close-out.
  • Supervise crews ensuring quality of work, keeping projects on target and within budget
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
  • Manage project documentation including contracts, RFIs, change orders, submittals, and punch lists.
  • Communicate with clients, and project teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise daily field operations and on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and vendors to ensure project schedules and quality are maintained.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure work meets specifications and safety standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct job site safety meetings.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly to avoid disruption to project timelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in construction project management and/or superintendent roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Builder Trend).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA certification and a valid driver's license are required, with a clean record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred (Not Required) Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with both commercial and residential construction projects.
