Highland Consulting Group is partnering with a well-established General Contractor in the Albany, NY area to find an experienced Project Manager.

This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to manage ground-up and fit-out projects from award to closeout, with minimal travel required, as most projects are within a reasonable commute.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all phases of assigned construction projects.
Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time completion.
Efficiently estimate, negotiate, and track change orders.
Manage project budgets and approve all related expenses.
Handle contract administration and oversee subcontractor/equipment buyouts.
Serve as the primary liaison for project owners and stakeholders.
Maintain detailed project records and oversee closeout documentation.
Conduct punch-list inspections alongside superintendents and owners.
Foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing commercial and institutional construction projects valued at $10M+.
Proven ability to develop timelines, manage budgets, and negotiate change orders.
Strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities.
Experience leading multi-discipline team meetings effectively.
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required-strong industry experience will be highly considered.

Anticipated salary for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. As required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes that the attached salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position.
