Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Rate: $70/hr to $75/hr
Duration: 8 months
Key job responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver data center designs within schedule and cost constraints
- Oversee the complete equipment qualification process, ensuring alignment across various teams and adherence to technical, operational, safety, quality, reliability, and business requirements on a global scale
- Develop and sustain a scalable mechanism to seamlessly integrate diverse teams and ensure that all power and cooling equipment undergo the required qualification tests
- Collaborate with architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines, as well as material suppliers, to deliver high-quality designs that support favorable business outcomes
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, operations teams, and external consultants
- Drive innovation in design and construction processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Create and maintain global best practice documentation.
- Oversee project metrics related to schedule, cost, and quality
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Architectural or related field
- 6+ years of design experience in commercial / industrial / other complex technical projects
- 5+ years of mission-critical facility design or technical program management experience
- 3+ years of project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
Day to Day:
- Assigned multiple programmatic design changes that they will be responsible for.
- Ensuring cross functional stakeholder alignment of the change
- Evaluating the technical readiness of the change
- Communicating with leadership within the business
- General maintenance of PCM tools that they use to track their programs.
Must Have:
- Construction engineering (in the field) with a degree
- Smart sheets experience
- 8+ YOE
