Job Title: Superintendent & Quality Control Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Superintendent or Quality Control Manager to oversee a significant renovation project at a VA hospital. The role involves managing a federal construction project with a budget of $8.5M, spanning two floors within a hospital setting. Experience with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) is highly valuable. Responsibilities
Manage subcontractors and collaborate with government customers daily, focusing on quality control and safety. Plan, assign, and direct work according to the scope of the project. Inspect work in progress to ensure it meets quality standards and applicable codes. Manage scheduling and successfully complete commissioning of newly installed systems as required. Review project specifications, oversee the hiring of subcontractors, and terminate contracts as necessary. Develop Quality Control and Health & Safety procedures for federal projects. Essential Skills
Extensive experience in quality control, OSHA 30 certification. Experience in federal construction projects. Ability to serve as either a Superintendent or Quality Control Manager for hospital renovations. EM385-1-1 certification. 5-8 years of previous federal construction experience. Quality Control Manager (QCM) Certification. Must have US citizenship. Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $55.28/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
