About the Role: Position: Construction Safety Manager- Data Center Location: Wenatchee, WA Summary: We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to serve as the field-level representative for health and safety oversight on a cutting-edge, hyperscale data center project. This role is ideal for a seasoned safety professional with the ability to coach and influence construction partners, drive high safety standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement all without direct operational control. You will work closely with General Contractor (GC) teams and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to global construction safety standards, proactively identify risk, and support the implementation of best practices across the site. Key Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with global construction safety requirements and high-risk activity plans. Conduct regular on-site safety walks and provide detailed reporting with actionable recommendations. Participate in Level 13 project planning meetings, three-week lookaheads, and daily huddles. Coach GC leadership on proactive safety management strategies. Act as a collaborative partner to GC teamssharing best practices and providing constructive feedback. Coordinate with multiple internal teams including construction, quality, safety, environmental, and supply chain stakeholders. Support the implementation of wellness and mental health initiatives across the job site. Promote and model a growth mindset through feedback, learning, and continuous development. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in construction safety management , preferably on hyperscale data center or other large-scale technical construction projects. Strong knowledge of safety programs, permitting processes, and high-risk activity oversight. Experience working in fast-paced construction environments , ideally involving union labor and collaborative GC partnerships. Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in MS-Office Suite. Must hold relevant certifications CHST, CSP , or similar preferred. Candidates with prior experience on data center builds or with high-tech owner-representative safety programs will be strongly prioritized. Salary Range: $ 170000- 190000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
