What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide safety management and consulting services to clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors
- Conduct risk assessments and safety training to enhance operational improvement and injury prevention
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to control costs related to injuries and safety
- Prepare Statements of Work and proposals outlining service scopes and deliverables
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support business development and client needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science/Art in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related technical major
- Minimum of five years of experience in Safety Management, Safety Consulting, or risk management within the construction sector
- Technical skills in safety program development and risk assessment processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management tools
- Ability to interpret data and create strategic improvement plans based on client needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in project management, including budget responsibilities and quality control
- Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation, regulatory compliance, and construction safety best practices
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience in casualty risk control or similar consulting roles
