Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) ProSidian seeks a Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. This role provides field support for the construction safety program to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, Local and/or company safety and health regulations/requirements. The Construction Safety Technician (Night Shift) will: Perform field safety evaluations and inspections. Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and company requirements. Investigate safety events and develop reports. Conduct safety briefing and presentations. Candidates must have 2+ years' experience in safety and construction related fields, providing safety oversight and safety program implementation. Intermediate computer skills including: e-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Technicians must have at least a high school diploma. Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification is ideal. Completion of OSHA 510 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry. Prior Savannah River Site experience and prior Savannah River Remediation experience is preferred. The position is a night shift position Wednesday through Saturday 4:30pm to 3:00am. However, alternate schedules could be employed. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicles operated by candidate must have valid registration and be insured with proof of insurance within the vehicle. U.S. Citizenship Required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products. All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a "Facility Access Authorization" by the USG's designated Security Office. Other requirements and conditions of employment apply.
