Job Description: As a Scheduler, you will be reporting to the Schedule Manager. You will be responsible for creating, overseeing and maintaining different project schedules. You will also prepare schedules during the bidding phase, assist on-going projects, and provide detailed time analysis to the Project Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize earned value management principles and experience to facilitate development of the project schedule, develop work breakdown structures (WBS), evaluate the performance of the project, and analyze budget and/or resource variances from the baseline plan.
- Engage with trade partners for development of baseline schedule, monthly updates and recovery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with all field staff members, scheduling consultant (if applicable) and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates.
- Produce reports required by the contract specifications and project management team.
- Identify and communicate significant schedule risks to staff and appropriate division personnel. Take necessary actions to mitigate possible risk.
- Forecast impacts of variances to aid in the management of the schedule and implement controls to avoid claims.
- Analyze delivery impacts, time extensions, claims, etc. using schedule fragments.
- Perform workforce projections and analysis.
- Train and lead classes and facilitate learning of the scheduling systems amongst the project staff.
- Prepare schedule activity status, reporting and narrative for project management and owner. This includes verifying and managing project log schedule information. Perform schedule analytics such as:
- Basic schedule quality
- Schedule performance as compared to monthly baseline
- “What if” scenarios
- Impacts and delays
- Transmittal and delivery coordination
- Coordinate with field supervision of weekly trade partner schedule meeting to discuss changes, upcoming work and progress.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in scheduling and planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.), and reading plans and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Construction Management or related field a plus.
- Ability to make decisions, work independently and coordinate estimating colleagues.
- Ability to meet critical project deadline, willingness to coordinate and work as a team member
- Experience with cost management systems, cost analysis, forecasting, and change management on alternative delivery projects.
- Experience with risk logs a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- High level proficiency with Primavera (P6), required. Knowledge of MS Project a plus.
- Certifications (one or more): CST, CCT, CMIT, CDT, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, PMP, CCM, EIT, or PE.
