We offer the following services: concrete cutting (slab sawing, core drilling, hand sawing), residential and commercial demolition (selective and structural), trenching for underground utilities, masonry and concrete finishing work. We presently have 30 employees and over 30 service trucks. We take job site safety very seriously and are fully compliant with the OSHA Respirable Crystalline Silica Rule. Our laborers and shop employees have OSHA 10-hour certification or better, our operators and foremen have OSHA 30-hour certification and our Safety Officer has OSHA 500 certification.*Job Summary*We are hiring for 2 open positions. We are seeking a Concrete Site Supervisor to perform and oversee concrete work and a Demolition Site Supervisor to perform and oversee demolition work.*Requirements*· U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, or a worker granted asylum or refugee status· Successful clearance of criminal background check, drug screening and credit check· Age 21 or older· English fluency· Valid Class C driver’s license, clean driving record (no recent moving violations)· Medical card for driver’s license· High school diploma or equivalent OR completion of a vocational training plan in a related field· Basic computer literacy· Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred· OSHA 10-hour certification preferred· Minimum of 2 years of experience in general construction· Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks· Ability to work independently· Ability to operate heavy machinery and job-specific equipment· Knowledge of tools, techniques, equipment and safety procedures related to demolition work· Knowledge of relevant building codes· Good organizational, conflict resolution, problem-solving and communication skills· Ability to effectively delegate, problem solve, and make decisions· Ability to effectively oversee the crew and exemplify teamwork· Ability to motivate and earn the crew’s trust and respect*Job Responsibilities *· Operates demolition equipment and tools· Oversees the work of crews· Communicates with superintendent to coordinate tasks required for job completion· Makes on-site decisions affecting crew· Escalates disciplinary issues to foreman· Helps to settle disputes between crew and foreman· Reports daily progress to manager· Adheres to U.C.I.’s policies and procedures· Performs other duties as assigned by superintendentJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Flexible schedulePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: On the road
