Location: 100% Onsite – Elk Grove Village, IL & Hoffman Estates, IL
Pay Rate Range: $63/hr. – $68/hr.

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Site Contracts Manager 4 to support construction projects at our Elk Grove Village and Hoffman Estates locations. This role will be responsible for end-to-end contract administration, from strategy development to negotiation and execution. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles, along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Top 3 Required Skills:
Procurement & Contract Administration Experience: 5+ years managing RFPs, RFIs, negotiations, and contract execution, particularly in construction or technology-based projects.
Strong Knowledge of Construction Contracts & Scopes of Work: Ability to develop, review, and manage complex construction agreements and project-specific scopes.
Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination: Proven ability to collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and ensure contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Contract Strategy Documents in collaboration with Project Managers
Review and assist in the development of Single Source Justifications
Review and support the creation of Scope of Work documents
Coordinate and manage project-specific insurance requirements
Develop Negotiation Plans and lead or participate in contract negotiations
Oversee the RFP process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetings
Manage and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Assist in developing and implementing new contract process controls
Maintain regular communication with the home office on Procurement-related matters
Generate accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders, and clients
Build a strong understanding of construction contracts and associated agreements
Perform price analysis, cost modeling, and identify competitive pricing benchmarks
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Business, or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and contract administration
Provided experience in Project Management
Previous experience in construction or technology-based projects is highly desirable
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement practices
Demonstrated experience preparing RFPs and RFIs
Proven ability to build and manage supplier and cross-functional relationships
Skilled in planning and leading complex negotiations
Proficient in various procurement methodologies and sourcing strategies
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Results-driven mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
