Shelby Construction is a dynamic general contractor specializing in both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction to final punch-out. Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractors, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, maintaining quality standards, and fostering strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will possess:
Proven experience in construction management, including pre-construction, framing, blueprint reading, punch list creation, shop drawing review, renovations, change order management, cost estimating, and takeoffs. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Strong leadership abilities to motivate and direct teams towards project success. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Proficiency in building codes and industry standards. The ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules. Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities to achieve project goals. Maintain a safe and clean job site in compliance with OSHA regulations. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks. Effectively communicate project progress and challenges to clients and management. Contribute to the development of project estimates and budgets.
