Construction Sr. Project Manager for commercial, industrial, muli-family, hospitality projects

A leading, Massachusetts-based design-build construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its collaborative and high-performing team. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex commercial and industrial building projects-from preconstruction through closeout.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of construction management, a hands-on approach to leadership, and a passion for mentoring teams while delivering high-quality results for clients.
What You'll Do:
- Lead multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Serve as the primary liaison among clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Prepare project schedules (including 3-week lookaheads), budgets, and bid packages
- Manage subcontractor negotiations, change orders, and procurement activities
- Conduct site visits, review plans/specs, and oversee field execution
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain detailed records in Procore and other systems
- Coordinate BIM efforts across project stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting and updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor project team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and accountability
- Oversee documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes
- Travel occasionally (up to 7 days/month) for project-related needs
- 15+ years of experience in building construction (new builds and renovations)
- Proven ability to lead project teams and manage all phases of construction
- Strong command of Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with both design-build and traditional delivery methods
- Deep understanding of construction drawings, codes, and jobsite operations
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
- Familiarity with BIM coordination
- Experience working on design-build projects with active client collaboration
- Prior hands-on carpentry experience
