Are you an experienced Superintendent with a strong track record in commercial construction? Our client, a reputable and fast-growing Commercial General Contractor in Anaheim , is looking for a capable and driven Superintendent to join their team.
About the Role:
This position offers the chance to take the lead on high-visibility commercial projects across the region, including restaurants, fast food outlets, and coffee shops . Projects include both ground-up construction and tenant improvements (TI) , so versatility and attention to detail are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through closeout
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and inspections to keep the project on schedule and within budget
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards (OSHA, local codes, etc.)
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure accuracy in execution
Resolve field issues quickly and effectively to minimize delays and maintain productivity
Conduct and lead daily site meetings with subcontractors and team members
Communicate regularly with the Project Manager, ownership, architects, and engineers
Maintain daily reports, site photos, and other documentation for project tracking and accountability
Enforce quality control and ensure work meets or exceeds expectations
Lead and motivate crews to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient job site
What We’re Looking For:
Experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Background in managing restaurant, fast food, or coffee shop projects preferred
Strong understanding of both ground-up and TI (tenant improvement) scopes
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites or fast-paced schedules
Proficient with construction software, scheduling tools, and documentation procedures
Knowledge of Southern California building codes and inspection requirements is a plus
