Participate in pre-construction meetings to facilitate a smooth transition from estimating and project management to field operations. Interpret and enforce contract documents, ensuring scope, schedule, and constructability requirements are clearly understood and met by assigned trades. Coordinate with the project management team to schedule and expedite the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment in alignment with the project timeline. Oversee subcontractor and supplier activities, focusing on safety and quality standards, and lead regular coordination meetings to ensure alignment. Support the Lead Superintendent in: Managing and maintaining the project schedule. Developing, managing, and forecasting labor, equipment, and material budgets. Procuring and managing temporary construction services. Execute and oversee all aspects of field operations, including but not limited to: Permitting, risk management, scheduling, cost control, and issue resolution. Conducting and documenting meetings, reporting, and maintaining document control. Site logistics, contractual correspondence, RFIs, safety compliance, quality assurance, commissioning, punch list, and closeout activities. Plan and secure project hoisting requirements. Organize and lead subcontractor pre-construction meetings to prepare for upcoming tasks. Maintain a detailed daily log to track job progress and identify potential delays or issues impacting scheduled activities. Coordinate and schedule all required tests, inspections, and punch list items; ensure corrections are completed, disputes resolved, and thorough documentation maintained. Develop and mentor direct reports by providing performance feedback, diversified assignments, and fostering a positive team culture. Attend and participate in meetings as needed.
