The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the direct supervision of all construction activities at Fairlead facilities. Project Oversight Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with approved plans, budget, specifications, and schedule. Monitor the progress of construction work and adjust as necessary to ensure that project milestones are met. Leadership and Management Provide leadership to on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers. Assign tasks to workers, monitor their performance, and ensure that work is completed to the required standards. Safety Management Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the construction site. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Job Qualifications Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on maritime or industrial facilities. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements. In-depth knowledge of maritime construction processes including dredging, pier construction, and marine infrastructure. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues quickly and effectively. Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or AutoDesk Build. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.
