Construction Superintendent - Commercial GC - Base Salary to 150k/year - Goldens Bridge, NY Our client is a commercial GC that is based out of Westchester County, NY and works throughout the Tri-state area. They are in the market for a Construction Superintendent as they enter the busy season and looking for someone with solid commercial construction experience. Their projects range from Healthcare, to interiors to Science and Technology.

Responsibilities: Scheduling and management of all subcontracted trades/project work Assist Project Manager with the set-up of temporary project facilities and utilities Establish and maintain contact with appropriate city officials and inspectors Scheduling and management of all self-performed field and project work Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors & Handle problems with subcontractors Adherence to all job site rules and regulations Work closely with all departments to maintain continuity of normal workflow Ensure that all jobs are constructed to contract, specification and detail Walk site to determine construction status and assure quality control Consistently utilize project software tools and Share Point Field folder Daily field reports and photos to PE and team Prepare punch-list audit for each job and ensure that all punch-list items have been completed prior to occupancy Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Supervise subcontractors and labor teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, changes, and communications.

Qualifications: 4+ years as a General Contractor Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, scopes and legal regulations. Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Compensation: Base salary in the 110k - 150k/year range Company Benefits and PTO
