Direct Hire Opportunity – Construction Superintendent (Madera, CA)
Salary: $80,000–$119,000

Superior Skilled Trades is now hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent to join a growing team in Madera, CA. If you’re a hands-on leader with a passion for managing field operations, coordinating trades, and delivering high-quality commercial construction projects, this is your next big opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in active jobsite environments and want to make an impact from start to finish.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead all on-site construction operations, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality are top priorities

  • Oversee day-to-day work and subcontractor coordination according to project plans and sequencing

  • Monitor job progress, maintain site documentation, and troubleshoot issues as they arise

  • Manage inspections and testing, and implement ICRA standards for healthcare projects

  • Prepare and update 3-week look-ahead schedules and site reports

  • Enforce company policies and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and public officials

  • Contribute to value engineering, budgeting, and preconstruction planning

  • Coordinate deliveries and verify that all materials and equipment meet project specs

  • Promote and enforce safety protocols at all times on the jobsite

  • Support and help train field personnel when necessary

Ideal Candidate Background:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent (Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management a plus)

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and subcontractors

  • Familiarity with medical construction environments and working around active operations

  • Hands-on experience with ICRA protocols, OSHPD / HCAI construction

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Project)

Certifications & Training:
  • OSHA 30

  • CPR / First Aid / AED

  • Construction Quality Management (NAVFAC or USACE preferred)

Physical & Work Environment:
