A leading General Contractor in Houston is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their growing team. The Role: As a Construction Superintendent, you will lead on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily field operations on ground-up commercial construction sites Manage all subcontractors, labor, and materials to ensure smooth project execution Enforce and maintain strict adherence to OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols Develop and maintain the construction schedule, coordinating closely with the Project Manager Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams Track project progress, site logs, RFIs, and change orders Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and quality standards Serve as the primary on-site contact for troubleshooting and resolving field issues Mentor and support field staff to maintain a motivated and efficient team What They’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years of Superintendent experience on ground-up commercial projects Strong project history with K-12 schools and bank/financial institutions Excellent working knowledge of OSHA regulations and a proactive approach to jobsite safety Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills Experience working in the Houston market and managing local trades Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Project Types Include: Schools (K-12) Banks and Financial Institutions Healthcare Facilities Retail Stores Restaurants If this sounds like you please apply with your Resume and a detailed Project List with relevant projects on!
