Summary: We’re seeking an experienced Site Civil Superintendent to lead daily operations for a major site development project. This role is hands-on and field-based — you’ll oversee subcontractors, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and keep the project on track from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you’ll be the primary on-site leader driving work to completion safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities: Lead On-Site Operations Coordinate and direct subcontractors across earthwork, grading, drainage, paving, piling, and utilities installation. Manage day-to-day activities, equipment, and materials to maintain schedules and budget. Ensure Safety & Compliance Conduct safety training and enforce OSHA standards (OSHA 30 required). Identify and resolve hazards promptly; investigate and document incidents. Maintain Quality Standards Work with 3rd-party testing companies to ensure work meets plans, specifications, and regulations. Track & Report Progress Maintain daily logs, manpower counts, and activity records. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and attend management meetings. Problem Solve in the Field Address schedule delays, equipment issues, and plan conflicts quickly and effectively. Manage Documentation & Changes Review drawings, RFIs, change orders, and invoices for accuracy.

Requirements: 5–10 years in civil construction/site development (mass grading, drainage, paving, utilities, piling). Strong leadership skills with proven subcontractor management. Ability to interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. OSHA 30 certification (required). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required. Bonus: Structural concrete/steel construction experience.
