Street Legal is seeking a Construction Superintendent with union experience to oversee all phases of a construction project, particularly those involving unionized labor. Responsibilities include managing the project team, ensuring adherence to union contracts and regulations, coordinating with subcontractors and project managers, and maintaining project schedules and budgets while playing a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all relevant standards. Travel throughout the US (and possibly outside the US) is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

Overseeing all aspects of a construction project from planning to completion, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources.


Union Labor Management:

Working directly with unionized labor, understanding and implementing union contracts, and resolving any labor-related issues that may arise.


Subcontractor Coordination:

Coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements, and managing their performance.


Safety and Compliance:

Implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.


Quality Control:

Ensuring that all work is performed to the required quality standards and meets project specifications.


Communication:

Maintaining clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.


Skills and Qualifications:

Construction Experience: Extensive experience in construction, preferably with a focus on unionized labor.

Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and guide the project.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure project completion.

Organizational: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Union Knowledge: Familiarity with union contracts, regulations, and working practices.

Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of construction safety regulations and practices.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction-related software and tools.
