Custom residential home builder located on the north shore is looking to fill a full time Superintendent to manage projects north of the Chicago area. Candidate must have some prior experience managing residential construction or College Degree in construction management or related field.

Qualifications:

· Proficient in plan and specification reading/review.

· Understand construction billing and budgets.

· Experience in new or remodel residential projects.

· Intermediate skills in Microsoft outlook, word and Excel.

· Some experience with Builder Trend or other web-based project management software is preferred.

· Highly organized and portray a positive/professional approach to home building and customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Manage multiple residential home projects along with a project manager.

· Monitor and manage ordering, scheduling and coordination of materials and trade contractors.

· Oversee project schedule, plans and specifications.

· Quality review and assurance of all materials and workmanship.

· Develop and maintain relationships with owners, architects and engineers along with the project manager on all projects.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $95,000
