Our client is a regional commercial contractor specializing in fast-turn retail and distribution buildouts across the Mid-Atlantic. With lean field teams, aggressive schedules, and project values from $500K to $20M, they maintain a steady pipeline that keeps superintendents busy year-round.

They’re seeking a travel-ready Construction Superintendent to oversee field execution from mobilization to closeout across projects in VA, MD, PA, DE, NJ, and NY. This is a hands-on leadership position with clear ownership in the field and direct impact on project delivery based out of Curtis Bay Industrial, MD area.

Position Highlights:

  • Base: $100K–$130K DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all on-site activities for retail and distribution projects valued $500K–$20M
  • Plan, sequence, and coordinate work with subcontractors and inspectors
  • Maintain and drive the construction schedule from start to completion
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
  • Serve as the primary field liaison for project managers, clients, and regulatory authorities
  • Supervise and support a small internal crew (1–2 team members)
  • Maintain accurate documentation: daily logs, punch lists, RFIs, closeout packages

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a Superintendent on commercial projects
  • PMP certification and OSHA 30 certification required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multi-trade subcontractors and inspections on active sites
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Mid-Atlantic
